Ecotex has been operating since 2011 in the import-export sector of used clothing and bases its core business on the recovery and selection of clothes and clothing accessories.
Ecotex story began in 2011 when three brothers Antonio, Ciro and Gabriele Esposito decided to keep up the historical family experience in the sector, which started in 1980. Today their serious and responsible business management boasts solid commercial relationships in Italy, in Europe and abroad, in particular with the countries of Africa and Asia.
The company benefits from a highly specialized industrial complex in Caivano, in the province of Naples, consisting of 2000 square meters of internal space for the collection and selection and 1000 square meters of outdoor space for handling vehicles and loading-unloading of goods.
Ecotex possesses the Single Environmental Authorization which allows the storage and recovery of non-hazardous textile waste for carrying out recovery operations with codes R-13 and R-3 and is also registered in the White List at the Prefecture of Naples.
Ecotex, as a company striving for sustainable development and an expression of the green economy, considers its raw material not as waste, although technically it is, but as a resource, thus guaranteeing continuity of use that would also run out in a common landfill. The reuse of used clothing reduces the exploitation of natural resources and the production of waste, with the consequent reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
